bacon, smoky tomatoes and pasta! Yum!
Ingredients
Sugardale Bacon, chopped
3 cans fire roasted tomatoes
1 red onion, diced
1tbsp. oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
6 cloves of garlic, minced
1 lb. whole wheat pasta, cooked
Directions
- heat oil and cook onion on medium heat until soft. add garlic and cooked bacon and cook untill fragrant. add tomatoes with their juice, and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and reduce until thickened. add pasta and serve.
