Slammin' Jalapenos

A spin on Jalapeno poppers. This recipe is bacon-y goodness surrounding mild heat and cream cheese gooeyness. A family favorite in our house.
Ingredients
8 - 10 Large Jalapeno peppers
1 - 3oz. pkg. of cream cheese
3 pieces of Ready bacon, crumbled
1 green onion - chopped
1 Tablespoon crumbled bleu cheese (favorite cheese shredded can be substituted
8 - 10 pieces of uncooked bacon
Directions
- Mix cream cheese, chopped onion, crumbled bacon and cheese by hand or with hand mixer. Set aside.
- Half peppers, remove seeds (do not remove tops).
- Fill one half of each pepper with cream cheese top with leftover half.
- Wrap with uncooked bacon.
- Secure with toothpicks.
- Cook on griddle or grill at 350 for appox. 20 minutes, turning every few minutes so that bacon is cooked on all sides.
- Serve with bread and bleu cheese salad dressing.
