Bacon Pancakes

Breakfast (or anytime) Bacon Pancake Specials. This country recipe makes about twenty, four-inch pancakes
Ingredients
1 egg
1 3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoon liquid shortening
2 cups pancake mix
6 slices crisp crumbled Sugardale bacon
Directions
- Add 1 slightly beaten egg, 1 3/4 cups milk and 2 tablespoons liquid shortening to 2 cups of pancake mix and 6 pieces of crisp crumbled bacon. Beat until smooth. Bake on hot griddle or in lightly greased skillet turning to brown both sides. Serve with syrup. Makes about twenty 4 inch pancakes
