Bacon Chickpea Salad or Dip

An easy, healthy, good for you side dish or dip, sure to please everyone.
Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas), drained 3 strips prepared Ready Bacon, crumbled
3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 tablespoons Lemon juice
1 medium red onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
1 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Directions
- Drain chickpeas and place in mixing bowl.
- Prepare Ready Bacon according to package directions, drain on paper towels and crumble.
- Add to bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Toss gently, cover and refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour.
- Transfer to serving bowl.
- Serve with nacho chips when using as a dip.
